First California Realty, Inc. and its staff are very active in community service both locally and abroad. 

Sausalito Women's Club 4th of July Festivities.FCR, Inc. is a sponsor of the annual Jazz by the Bay music festival in Sausalito and, is a supporter of the Parks and Recreation Department’s annual Halloween parade for kids, participates in the Fourth of July parade (that's Sherrie on the right with the Sausalito Women's Club parade entry 2006). 

Sherrie Faber serves on the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce and organizes their monthly membership mixer events and their annual Autumn Ball fundraiser. She is an active member of the Sausalito's Women's Club (thus the photo above), the Sausalito Yacht Club, the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Sausalito COC. She works on fundraising for all of those organizations, as well as the Jr. Sailing Program at SYC, Sausalito Art Festival, Parks & Recreation (City of Sausalito, Center for Attitudinal Healing; Sausalito Sr. Rotary Housing and Sausalito Rotary Club International.

Sherrie is the Events Coordinator for the Sausalito Chamber of Commerce 2007-2008 and she is Co-Chair for the Chamber Women’s Alliance- Speaker Series (next event scheduled for September 18th, at the Aqua Hotel.)

Petaluma Steal Breeze Team.Dane Faber is on the Board for Rotary Housing Corp. a non profit subsidiary of the Sausalito Rotary Club that builds and operates low income housing for senior citizens. Through the Rotary, FCR, Inc. participates in many community events, including sponsoring their annual golf fundraiser at Indian Springs Course and sponsoring the Petaluma Steal Breeze soccer team (the team won first place this year).

Dane is also Chairman of the Sausalito Sustainability Commission, an environmental watchdog for the city, whose work has been cited by County Supervisor Charles McGlashen as a model for all of Marin.

Dianne Levy, our licensed assistant, has been active in the Marin Branch of the California Writers Club and is the Sausalito Chamber of Commerce WAVES publication committee. She also donates copious amounts of time to build and maintain websites for animal rescue organizations, most notably The Amazon Animal Orphanage in Quitos, Peru. Dianne is also Founder and Director of the non-profit Maritime Heritage Project, which preserves San Francisco's shipping history through its website.
