To be the best takes a lot of groundwork, persistence, tons of energy, deep commitment, and most of all a lot of love. Sherrie Faber has all of these attributes and then some. Her enthusiasm and joy for life shine right through her contagious smile. The directness of speech and eye contact conclude that her knowledge and focus are what have made her a leader in this field. Coming from a sales background, she took an indirect route to her chosen career in real estate. Leaving Maryland in 1980 for San Francisco, Sherrie worked for Headquarters Companies Professionals at 44 Montgomery Street and for Pitney Bowes. Sherrie met her husband, Dane, in 1985 on a sales call and moved to his life long home in Marin. She then began using her talent as a décor design consultant to buy, remodel and sell homes. "So actually, I've been involved in the real estate market in one way or another for 18 years." Sherrie uses that experience and information when working with her clients. "I can talk to them about costs, value in the long term, whether it will be a sound investment and how to 'show off' a listing with creative staging ideas." Sherrie works with families, singles, couples, seniors, anyone just starting out, as well as established and repeat investors. "It's easy for me to relate. I have been through each phase of buying and selling many times personally, in addition to professionally."

Sherrie's sister Donna Nail has been a mortgage broker in Marin County for 21 years and is currently with First Securities Loan Corporation in San Rafael.
