To be the best takes a lot of groundwork, persistence, tons of energy, deep commitment, and most of all a lot of love. Sherrie Faber has all of these attributes and then some. Her enthusiasm and joy for life shine right through her contagious smile. The directness of speech and eye  contact conclude that her knowledge and focus are what have made her a leader in this field. The minute you meet Sherrie you become her primary concern. "I really take care of my clients, I think of them and their needs every day. I am very focused on what my clients want for their lives and I do everything to help make those dreams happen for them. I  don't give up," Sherrie states.

Coming from a sales background, she took an indirect route to her chosen career in real estate. Leaving Maryland in 1980 for San Francisco, Sherrie worked for Headquarters Companies Professionals at 44 Montgomery Street and for Pitney Bowes. Sherrie met her husband, D. Stephen, in 1985 on a sales call and moved to his life long home in Marin. She then began using her talent as a décor design consultant to buy, remodel and sell homes. "So actually, I've been involved in the real estate market in one way or another for 25 years." Sherrie uses that experience and information when working with her clients. "I can talk to them about costs, value in the long term, whether it will be a sound investment and how to 'show off' a listing with creative staging ideas." Sherrie works with families, singles, couples, seniors, anyone just starting out, as well as established and repeat investors. "It's easy for me to relate. I have been through each phase of buying and selling many times personally, in addition to professionally."

Sherrie is one of the 16,000 real estate professionals in North America who have earned the SRES® (Senior Real Estate Specialist) designation by completing comprehensive courses in understanding the considerations, practical needs, and goals of real estate buyers and sellers aged 55 and older who are ready to relocate. The nationally recognized SRES® designation is designed to help clients save you thousands of dollars when buying or selling property. The equity in your property may be the most valuable asset you possess. The team you create; legal, accounting, financial and real estate are most critical to develop a specific plan that will give you peace of mind.

"I love this business and I love Marin County. Marin is a wonderfully diverse place to live with easy access to San Francisco. The people that desire Marin's lifestyle recognize just how special it is. Since every home and every transaction is unique, in this competitive marketplace, I believe it is very important to be a good listener and a sharp negotiator to be successful. You are always 'ON' in the real estate." She explains, "there is always something to check on, clients to clarify an idea with, financing information to pass along, contract negotiations, previewing and showing properties . . . which means that I have to be organized, composed and focused at all times. I treat people the way I like to be treated. The foundation of my business is built on professionalism, honesty and integrity."
